AGP is also a participant in the Financial Services Compensation Scheme established under the UK Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim. Further information about the compensation scheme arrangements is available from the FSCS.

Data protection

AGP collects personal information through this website which may include details such as your and your employees name, e-mail address, postal address, telephone number, date of birth, bank/credit card details and health information. AGP takes its responsibilities to maintain your and your employees privacy very seriously and we promise to do all that we can to protect it.

We also collect information that could identify your computer to us (your IP address) and/or that tells us about how you use our website.

What will the information be used for?

AGP may share your and your employee’s information with relevant companies to provide both quotations and for ongoing management of any insurance arrangement.

Our uses include marketing and we may share information for this purpose with other AXA Group companies. Very occasionally we may also do this with companies outside the AXA Group with whom we have a business relationship – see the section “Your rights” below. We may also use the information collected for analytical purposes, and to assist us in improving our website, processes, products and services.

We will use information to safe-guard against fraud and money laundering. We are required to report details of some suspicious activities to the UK National Crime Agency (NCA).

We may also use other companies to help us provide services to you and to store your information. Many of these are AXA Group companies and some of these companies are based outside the UK, most notably in Switzerland where AXA has a very secure European Data Centre, and in India.

If we think some of our uses of the information that you give us are unlikely to be clear to you, we will tell you what the uses are before you submit the information to us.

Your rights

Any personal information you supply to AGP via this website (and by other means) will be treated in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 1998 and other legislation intended to protect your personal information and privacy.

AGP is committed to delivering the rights that the UK Data Protection Act 1998 and Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations provide to individuals.

Amongst these are:
• The right to object to your personal information being used for marketing purposes. Where required we will ensure we obtain your consent before undertaking marketing;
